It is ... functional, unobtrusive, robust, definitely inexpensive!

What is "it"?  The handle we use on our amps and speaker cabinets.

Even though it doesn't contribute to generating cool, tube tone, it does play an important role and it is a perfect example of Mack Music Systems' philosophy: Buy Tone Not Glitz.

First the functionality bit.  Although plain and utilitarian looking, the handle we use on our equipment is one of those things you occasionally run across that are like cockroaches: they'll survive the apocalypse!  The plastic covering may wear away over millennia, but the steel core and the metal attachment cleats won't ... that means they certainly won't fail during normal use even by gigging musicians!

However, the coolest thing about our handle is that it provides awesome value: its the lowest cost part of its type that we could find that does the job its supposed to.  That's the idea behind our whole company. 

Our primary objective as a builder of hand made, tube guitar amps is to provide players of all levels with truly inspiring guitar tone at a truly affordable price.  That means we expend a tremendous amount of effort researching the components that go into our products and, most importantly, designing those products to ensure they meet our objective.

Although our handle doesn't contribute to tone, it is a perfect, visible example of our corporate philosophy in action.
